SETTING BOUNDARIES (FOR SENSITIVE MOMS)

Do you ever feel completely drained after being in large crowds, airports or even around negative people?

As a child were you sensitive and told to grow a thicker skin?

If you feel overstimulated in noisy and crowded places and you feel things more deeply than others, you maybe an empath.

Every since I was a child, I was an energetically sensitive soul and I would be so in tune with how others felt and take it on like my own.

When my mom felt stressed, I felt her agitation. I knew what she was feeling and even to this day being around my moms heavy, dense and negative energy drains me. It takes me a day to just feel like myself again.

And most recently, I was texting a dear friend of mine who was going through a falling out with another friend and after the text message- I had a pow of emotions hit me… I started to doubt, omg does she not like me, did I say something to offend her. What did I do.. And I realized… These were not my emotions… Even at a distance— and through a text message. I absorbed and could FEEL the emotions and thoughts my friend was having…

Research show that high sensitivity affects approximately 20 percent of the population.

As women I think we all have the ability to absorb others emotions, we all have intuition but it’s our free will how open we are to these skills.

If you’ve ever felt you didn’t fit in with the crowd. You were emotionally sensitive and felt things more deeply than others. Your sensitivity is no longer a weakness and you aren’t weird. You are an empath.
