One of the most common things I hear from coaching clients and friends is, “Can you show me exactly your meditation practice and what you do to stay calm?”

I have to say my practice will look different than yours because what I do has evolved over the course of 6 years. And my advanced practice is quite different when I was a newbie.

So I don’t think it’s beneficial to copy my exact practice NOW, but to learn what I used to do when I started out.

I know if you’re reading this you are earnestly trying to learn something new and without a roadmap it can feel daunting.

That’s why I’m going to share the specific tools I used when I FIRST started my meditation practice.

I’m like you. I’m constantly learning so when I look back there are mistakes I made that I don’t want you to make. And there are tools I wish I had that I’m going to make available to you NOW.

If you’re curious to know exactly what I did when I started to meditate, watch this week’s Tejal.TV as I break it down for you…I kept my practice super simple as you’re about to see so check it out below.

I know some people resist meditation because they don’t see the value in it, they can’t get themselves to sit still, or anytime they’ve tried it — they never know if they’re ‘doing it right’ and get frustrated and quit. If you’re struggling with some of the common excuses (we all face) check out this blog- it’ll help you bust your biggest excuses for good.

On to my favorite part– gift giving time!!

As I mentioned in the video, In the beginning I listened to short guided meditations to help me settle down and clear out my thoughts.

As a special gift to help you get started, I’ve created a FREE 7 minute morning guided meditation for you. If you’d like to meditate along with me, click on the picture below and listen to it each morning. Try it out for a 7 day challenge!

Quote 70-3

And I mentioned in the episode, I wish I had someone who taught me Kundalini meditation earlier in my journey.  As my second gift, join me for 4 weeks of FREE Beginners Kundalini meditation practice with me live on Facebook and Periscope. CLICK HERE to get all the details so you can join me and take up this limited time opportunity.

Once you’ve had a chance to watch today’s episode (+ listen to the guided meditation), I’d love to know:

Do you meditate regularly? If so, what specific difference has it made in your life? If not, why not?

During the past 6 years my meditation and mindfulness practice has evolved . I try new things for awhile. Some stick. Some don’t. But it’s all about trial, error and TRYING it out for myself. Where you are today isn’t where you will be 1 year from now or even 6 years from now. This is a lifestyle. It grows and evolves as you change. That’s why I give you different options to test out because something that doesn’t resonate today, may call out to you tomorrow.

Keep an open mind. An open heart and let the meditations do it’s magic.

Thanks for watching and sharing with such joy and love. I honor you for taking the step to become a more peaceful mama and create a more peaceful home for your family.

And do come on back and let me know how your 7-day meditation challenge goes.

With love and tons of appreciation,

P.S.- The free 4 Week Kundalini Meditation Live Class starts next Monday. Mark your calendars, set reminders on your phone, you aren’t going to want to miss this limited time opportunity!

  1. Thank you for the video. I have tried meditation in the past, but I not incorporated it into my daily life. You get so busy being a mom and being there for others, you tend to leave yourself with no time. I am committed to making this a part of my daily life. Very grateful you posted this.

    • Hey Laura,

Thank you for sharing! I know EXACTLY how you feel. I had the intention of continuing to practice as a new mom but I had no idea of how I could consistently practice when each day would bring a different challenge or experience. I find that just doing one simple activity even for as little as 2-3 minutes is sometimes exactly what I need- either before my day starts or when my day ends.
I totally admire your dedication to yourself and your family. I totally believe in you. =)
