Have you ever faced a big decision and felt torn about which way to go?

Fear and intuition can feel eerily similar-especially when it’s something you REALLY want..

I could never figure out was the pit in my stomach my intuition was trying to save me from a bad choice or was it nervous energy that I was heading in the right direction?

Here’s how this recently showed up for me

I always saw myself with two children.

But this toddler phase has been tough transition for me.

But there was also this great balance I found when my son transitioned into toddlerhood.

Ayaan was more independent. He slept through the night, he went to school somedays which opened space for me grow my mindful mama coaching business and fulfill my life purpose.

So then it came to “planning” about baby #2.

I noticed a deep resistance within me. Did I even want to have Baby #2? I have this great self-care, work and family balance. Do I really want to give that up by throwing another baby into the mix?

Deep down the answer is yes, but why was I waiting for everything to be convenient and perfect?

Why was I so scared?! As I leaned into my this feeling I discovered this wasn’t even about having or not having Baby #2 it was this deeper rooted fear of taking a leap of faith into the unknown.

I needed a clear sign that I was headed in the right direction and that’s when I learned this powerful tool.

  1. Oh I understand this so well! We decided to try for baby number 2 recently and we got pregnant a lot quicker than I thought we would. Now I’m having a lot of uncertainty. This post was very helpful

  2. Such a good post. I am in the midst of being back tow or after summer break. Such a huge part of me wants to quit and be a full time mom, but the unknown is so scary. Going to watch the video.

  3. This is a wonderful article!!! Change is so hard and the fear of uncertainty is definitely real! But I highly agree that walking through that fear is the only way to grow and get stronger. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Change can be so hard sometimes! I think for me what helps is prayer and reading the Word. But all of everything above is super helpful too. I think it’s just hard sometimes to give up control!

  5. Intuition is such an interesting subject right? Especially how it’s impacted by the physical gut that has been sent signals by our brains in which the emotional message could be rational or irrational based on the imbedded experience. But if we can figure that out it’s the a great way to know whether to follow the fear or take a leap of faith! Loved this post Tejal!
