CAN’T I LEARN TO MEDITATE ON MY OWN?

gaia, Yoga Journal, mediation teacher, meditation expert, coach, marie forleo, B-School, life coach, kundalini teacher, kriya yoga,

So today I’m coming to you with a burst of wisdom from one of my favorite business guru’s, Marie Forleo. Her motto in business and life that she learned from her mama is  “Everything is Figureoutable.”

So when I began running my own online coaching business, I thought well I guess I gotta figure all this stuff out on my own, right?! But WordPress made my head spin. Facebook Ad’s was like learning Mandarin.   But of course I needed a website and I needed to use Facebook Ad’s so that mamas like you could know I was out there to serve. But really was it the best use of my time, energy and brain power to figure all this stuff out on my own?

That’s when Marie’s lesson clicked…

It’s not so much about figuring every little thing out on your own. I could have done that in my business and not enrolled in Marie Forleo’s B-School program. And honestly, I’d still be trying to figure how to run an online business until this day.

Sometimes in life figuring it out means learning new skills, but sometimes figuring it out means finding the right person who is knowledgeable and passionate about the thing you need help with.

I learned that the biggest investment towards myself was when I honored my time and paid an expert to help me in areas I wasn’t proficient in.

I searched for the right person who could help in the areas that I didn’t have the time, energy or willingness to “figure out” on my own.

This wisdom has served me well in my business and personal life.

So when mamas ask me, “Can’t I just figure this mindfulness stuff on my own?”

My reply is “Of course- everything is figureoutable. “

You can definitely order a boatload of books, trawl through them for relevant information, try to decipher the incorrect info from the correct, watch tons of Youtube videos go to meditation classes each week and try to piece everything together on your own.

But do you really want to spend your limited time and energy to do that?

Shifting through the tons of information is daunting. I know this cause I did it for 5 years.  It wasn’t until I gave up figuring it out on my own and spent 500 hours, investing $2k of my hard-earned money and 1 year of my life to become a  Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, I invested in figuring out for myself so I can help others figure it out too (without the hefty time and money commitment).

Let’s be real: as a mom, time is just as valuable as money.

When time is limited and 20 minute daily meditations aren’t always sustainable, we need to find a practice that is flexible enough to fit into our busy mama schedule. I also know that your kids are growing fast and irreplaceable moments are passing by, you don’t have the luxury to wait 5 years or invest 500 hours in figuring it all out on your own.

So it’s your choice- Devote the time and energy to become a meditation teacher to figure it out on your own or find a meditation teacher that  that will teach you a proven system that will help you reach your goals to better manage stress, find ways to stop yelling at your kids and learn the tools to raise happy, confident and resilient children.

That’s exactly why I created The Mindful Mama Experience online coaching course.

The Mindful Mama Experience was created to teach mindfulness in a way that is specifically tailored to your needs as a mother, that’s designed for quick-wins and maximum effectiveness, and that’s been proven to work with hundreds of other women.

Not only that, I wanted to be easily accessible  when you have questions. And I wanted to create a safe space with a whole tribe of supportive soul-sisters as you navigate the new era of mindful parenting.

For busy mamas, the best use of your time is figuring out if The Mindful Mama Experience is the right mindfulness program for you to help you learn the life-long skills to become a more peaceful mama.

I’ll never claim that The Mindful Mama Experience is the “only” path to mindfulness. That wouldn’t be fair or true.

But what I will tell you is that if you’re pressed for time, if you’re keen to hone in on exactly what works (and ignore all the stuff that doesn’t), if you want to learn the practices that will give you maximum ‘bang for your buck’ (and that will help your kids in the best possible way too), and if you want the support necessary to sustain genuine, lasting change… then this program is likely the exact thing you’ve been waiting for.

So now I want to hear from you.

In the comments below, share something in your life that it’s a better use of your time and energy to ask for help? Sure you have the sheer ability and determination to figure it out yourself. But that’s not always the most healthy, wise and appropriate decision if you are a time-strapped mama.

Remember: You can have it all. But you can’t do it all.

Sending you all my best,

P.S.  Early-bird pricing for The Mindful Mama Experience ends on September 29th. The price will never be this low again. Don’t wait another year to take the course and risk missing any more irreplaceable childhood moments.
