Pregnancy can be a stressful time even for someone who practices mindfulness. Regardless if it’s your first pregnancy and you trip out cause you have no idea what to expect. Or your pregnant again and had a traumatic experience before, it’s hard to get the fear of our head.
What we eat while pregnant isn’t the only thing that effects the baby. Any stress, anxiety or negative emotions are also felt by the baby.
[gold]As Yogi Bhajan Ph.d says, “A mother beings to form the subconscious mind and the experiences of the baby from the womb. As a mother practiced conscious breathing, the child is born into this world, with the natural rhythm of calm breathing. “[/gold]
This is why meditation is so essential for pre-natal care.
During my pregnancy, I had a few unsettling moments. One being that my son was breeched until pretty late into my pregnancy. I tried all the methods my midwife suggested to naturally get him to move. But this stubborn little bugger would just kick me. It’s during this time I stumbled upon this Kundalini meditation to bond with your baby.
It changed my energy completely.
This is one of my key pregnancy meditations, to create a calm and blissful experience during the stressful moments.
So if you want a powerful way to bond with your baby in the womb, watch this week’s episode. It’s a must-do pregnancy meditation.

har pregnancy kundalini meditation instructions
Har Pregnancy Kundalini Meditation
Mantra: Har- ( Whisper and speak out loud)
Had means- the divine energy within us and the energy surrounding us.
Hand Position: Right hand on heart, left hand on belly connecting with baby. Each time you recite Har out loud, lightly tap your heart. Feel as though your heart is connecting and sending that pulse of energy down to your baby at the belly.
Eyes: Closed focused on the 3rd eye ( Point between the eyebrows, going up an inch)
Time: Do for 5 minutes or more until you feel calm and relaxed
Coming Out of Meditation: Keeping the eyes closed, bring your hands to your knees, palms facing up. Allow your natural breath pattern to return, feel the energy sensations that were created in your body and send loving and healing energy to your child. Know that the more calm you feel, your baby is feeling the same sensation as well.

After you have a chance to watch, I’d love to hear from you. I have a two-parter for you:
[teal] 1. Let me know some of the ways you bond with your baby during pregnancy?[/teal]
[teal] 2. I want you to try the meditation and let our community of mamas know your experience.[/teal]
Remember, your energy, thoughts and experiences affect your child in the womb and beyond. Create a strong foundation of mindfulness even before your child is born. It’s the greatest gift you can give your child.
Love and calm vibes,
