Hey Mama, Are you enjoying the present moment to the fullest?

Answer yes or no to receive a special gift from me

You’ve said something harsh to your children, that you later regretted, right? Whether it was using a harsh tone, words or energy, one thing is certain.

The way we speak to our children (especially in moments of anger) become our child’s inner truth.

The harsher the critic, tone and words we use, they get planted into their subconscious and hijack how they start seeing themselves.

I remember this clearly one day when Ayaan wasn’t eating well. When he finally started eating, he would keep food stuffed in his mouth. Running late already, I wanted to SCREAM. What was quickly spiraling into a moment of disconnection, got salvaged when I did the tool I’m going to teach you today.

And how did Ayaan react?

Ayaan started laughing and so did I!  In that moment of play I let go of my agenda and tuned into him. I realized he wasn’t swallowing to be defiant, he got peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth and he couldn’t swallow. In that space of laughter, I was able to see the good in my child and was so thankful I didn’t act out based on my initial assumption which would have certainly lead to mommy guilt if I would have scolded him.

If you want to master the one-minute secret to stay sane and silly in the midst of power struggles, this is it.

It also helps in balancing your throat chakra, your thyroid and helps you release pent-up energy from emotions you haven’t expressed. ( Win-Win-Win!)

Don’t be surprised if bickering siblings burst into laughter instead of yelling.

Check out the TejalTV episode now and learn the simple one-minute tool to be empowered when you speak instead of yell or say things you’ll later regret

Now I’d love to hear your thoughts.

  1. Even if you don’t have a triggering moment, try the throat chakra tool for one minute everyday and let me know your experience. How did if feel?
  2. If you try it out with your kids or in a moment you want to explode share any insights or stories with us.

Let me know in the comments below.

I’ve discovered the people who shy away from this exercise really need it. Let loose, be silly and allow this tool to finally become in charge of speaking from a kind and compassionate space even when you feel upset or angry.

Remember to share as much detail as possible in your reply. So many incredible mamas come here each week for inspiration and insight and your example may help someone else have a meaningful shift in their life.

Thank you for watching, adding your perspective and bringing our discussion to life
